Sarrinah Ahmed

Sarrinah Ahmed is an Associate Attorney with Meliora Law, where she works across the firm’s Health Care and Litigation practice groups. Sarrinah works with the firm’s clients on a range of health care compliance matters, including assisting with Medicaid audits, compliance program development and review, self-disclosures and fraud, waste and abuse audits and investigations.  She is an experienced litigator, representing the firm’s clients in all stages of litigation.  Sarrinah approaches her work with careful attention to detail, compassion, and a strong commitment to understanding each client’s individual needs. Drawing on her background in both litigation and health law, she helps clients navigate complex legal issues with practical, thoughtful, and client-centered guidance.

Sarrinah earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Albany Law School, where she completed a concentration in Health Law and served as Selections Editor of the Albany Law Journal of Science & Technology. She later earned her L.L.M. in Health Law and Healthcare Compliance, magna cum laude, from Albany Law School. She also holds an undergraduate degree in biology, which helped shape her interest in health law.

Before joining Meliora Law, Sarrinah practiced in personal injury litigation, where she advocated for individuals during challenging and often unfamiliar circumstances. That experience strengthened her ability to listen closely, identify what matters most to each client, and develop practical strategies tailored to their needs.

Outside of work, Sarrinah is an avid animal lover and enjoys spending time with her black cat, Henry, and Great Dane, Ellie. She also likes to craft when she has the energy to sift through her many craft bins.
