Elizabeth O'Reilly

Elizabeth (Liz) O’Reilly is an Associate with Meliora Law who approaches the practice of law with attention to detail, collegiality, and a client-centered focus.  Liz practices across Meliora Law’s Trusts & Estates and Health Care practice areas. She assists clients in a range of trust and estate matters—including estate and long-term care planning, trust and estate administration, business succession planning, and tax planning—and health care matters working with clients on a host of regulatory, compliance, and audit matters.  Liz brings a dynamic and personal approach to lawyering—empowering clients to tackle the ever-changing regulatory and complex legal landscape they find themselves in.

Liz began her career in New York City as an associate at Milbank LLP where she worked on a wide range of complex matters. Upon her return to Upstate New York she was an associate at Harris Beach PLLC before joining Albany Law School as a Staff Attorney with Albany Law School’s Edward P. Swyer Justice Center in their Health Law Clinic.  While at Albany Law School, Liz supervised law students in their direct representation of chronically and terminally ill clients and provided hands-on training in lawyering skills in real-time.  Liz’s holistic background enables her to quickly identify clients’ issues and pivot to address their needs.

Liz graduated summa cum laude from Albany Law School where she was an Executive Managing Editor of the Albany Law Review. 

She is passionate about bridging the access to justice gap, enjoys live music, and takes the occasional hike.
