Elizabeth O'Reilly

Elizabeth (Liz) O’Reilly is an Associate with Meliora Law who approaches the practice of law with attention to detail, collegiality, and a client-centered focus.  She assists clients with corporate, health care, and tax matters.  Liz brings a dynamic and personal approach to lawyering and tackling the ever-changing regulatory landscape our clients find themselves in. 

Prior to joining Meliora, Liz was a Staff Attorney with Albany Law School’s Edward P. Swyer Justice Center in their Health Law Clinic.  While at Albany Law School, Liz supervised law students in their direct representation of chronically and terminally ill clients and provided hands-on training in lawyering skills in real-time.  Liz began her career in New York City as an Associate in Milbank LLP’s Litigation and Arbitration group where she worked on matters ranging from the Puerto Rico Title III municipal restructuring to high-stakes securities litigation.  Upon her return to Upstate New York, she worked as an Associate on the Energy Industry Team at Harris Beach PLLC before joining Albany Law School.  Liz’s holistic background enables her to quickly identify clients’ issues and pivot to address their needs. 

Liz graduated summa cum laude from Albany Law School where she was an Executive Managing Editor of the Albany Law Review. 

She lives in Saratoga Springs with her partner, Anthony, and their cat Arya.  She is passionate about bridging the access to justice gap, enjoys live music, and takes the occasional hike.
